This project simulated an industrial manufacturing environment, involving approximately 30 members organized into seven distinct Business Units (BUs), each responsible for specific tasks in the PCB mounting assembly's design, fabrication, and assembly processes. My role as Project Manager (PM) was central to maintaining efficient workflow, clear communication, and ensuring all units met designated project deadlines and quality standards.
My responsibilities included overseeing adherence to quality management systems (QMS), organizing and moderating weekly meetings, ensuring timely submission of deliverables, and resolving inter-unit challenges swiftly. Effective project management ensured that the final assembly met predefined specifications for tool-free installation, secure PCB placement, and overall structural integrity.
The management of the project encompassed:
Scheduling and Coordination: Developed and maintained comprehensive scheduling documents and calendars to track deliverables and deadlines.
Communication Management: Actively moderated Microsoft Teams channels, provided timely updates, and facilitated cross-business unit meetings to ensure clear and constant communication.
Documentation and Reporting: Organized project documentation, managed the submission of weekly meeting minutes, and compiled detailed timecards reflecting managerial activities.
Quality Assurance: Monitored compliance with project specifications, organized feedback loops, and coordinated with BUs to ensure resolution of technical challenges.

Establishing Communication Channels: Created and managed structured Teams channels and Google Drive folders to enhance communication and document management.
Regular Check-ins and Meetings: Conducted regular meetings and provided weekly announcements to ensure alignment and promptly address emerging issues.
Cross-Unit Coordination: Facilitated frequent cross-unit discussions, enabling proactive problem-solving and collaborative design revisions.
Feedback Integration and Adaptation: Managed feedback from TAs, professors, and BUs, integrating it efficiently into the project workflow for continuous improvement.
Final Reporting and Presentation: Consolidated and refined the final project report, including graphical elements and assembly photographs, for professional presentation.
